Job Description:

North Wind, Inc is seeking candidates with various levels of experience for part-time and full-time GIS positions in various locations. A BS in Natural Resources, cultural resources, or other environmental related field with 1-5 years of experience is required using ESRI suite of ArcGIS software (ArcINFO 8.x, ArcView 3.x) and GPS support and data integration. Primary responsibilities will include cartographic development and spatial analysis of vector and raster data sets. Experience with AutoCAD, Remote Sensing (ENVI), ArcIMS, or GIS application development a plus. Typical projects include cultural resources assessments, fire management plans, and invasive weeds assessments among others. This opportunity affords excellent experience and applications of GIS in diverse environmental fields. Candidates must be motivated individuals with excellent cartographic and interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational and spatial data management skills. Will require some travel.
